Nursing mothers often need help after they leave the hosptial. We are pleased to have on staff a certified Lactation Consultant, Cathy Peters, who is available by phone or in the office to answer questions and offer suport with breastfeeding. Cathy also leads a newborn baby group (infants age 2 weeks to 3 months), which is a forum where parents can ask questions, share helpful hints, and find support. Parents who would like a home visit can call Lorna Alperti, who is a certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and Lactation Consultant. Lorna can visit you at your home to provide help with breastfeeding. Please speak to your doctor, PA, or nurse if you would like to arrange a home visit. |
